Now That I Am His,

What Should I Do?
.................................................................................

Step 1.
Tell Others About The Decision   Christ.     You have made.

"Whoever confesses me before men, him I will confess before My father who is in heaven."  Matthew 10:32

Tell your family and friends. Tell a church leader (like a pastor) who will encourage you and answer any questions you have. Water baptism is a great way to  publicly declare your faith.

Step 2. Follow Christ in Water Baptism.

"And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord"  Romans 3:23

Jesus thought it was necessary Himself to be baptized. Now that you are His, you will also want to follow His example. Baptism expresses to everyone that you are now a Christian! If possible, contact Church On The Rock to be baptized!

Step 3. Connect With A Bible Believing   rrrrrrrrrrrrrChurch.

And let us not neglect meeting together...     Hebrews                                         Hebrews 10:24

The need for a strong local church in your life cannot be over-emphasized. You need to be part of a church where you can grow and build relationships in small groups. Unite with a church where the Bible is preached, worship is encouraged, Jesus is the focus, and then attend faithfully.

Step 4. Read The Bible Regularly.

Your Word is a lamp to my to guide my feet and a light for my path.  Psalm 119:105

The Bible is a roadmap by which Christians are to live. The Bible speaks to you- guiding, warning, correcting, and expressing God's love for you. The book of John is a great place to start reading. If you don't have a Bible, we would love to give you one; just contact us.

Step 5. Pray To God Often.

Listen to my voice in the morning Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to and wait expectantly.  Psalm 5:3

Prayer is simply talking to God like you talk to a friend. Give Him thanks, tell Him you love Him, and then share what's on your heart. Then listen for Him to respond to your conversation.

AGAIN, CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR DECISION TO BE A CHRISTIAN! IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, OR NEED HELP, LET US KNOW!
